Their singles are alright, but I got their album & thought it was very poor on the whole. The Song 'Givin` Up', about Justin Hawkins coming off heroin is so embarrasing it just stops being funny after a while.

'Growing On Me' & 'Thing Called Love' are good pop songs , though.

Radiohead are probably my second favourite band,i understand why people dont like them though. The first two albums were rock by numbers (although The Bends is great). From OK Computer they took a change of direction which i think you either "get" or you dont. Im suprised they dont get more mention on here though,because they have quite a lot in common with New Order.

But, other bands, like the Cure, change direction and don't sound as dull, but it's only my opinion.

Each to their own I suppose. For me,

Radiohead = great after the first album until the most recent one The Darkness = wank The Cure = ok until the mid 80s.
