I looked up on imdb.com that Bill Clinton's b-day is August 19 (Thursday), but I'm probably gonna be at work all that day so I thought I'd jump the gun and wish our greatest living ex-president a happy birthday two days in advance! :\party:

Anyway, the man that gave us eight years of Lewinskygat, Whitewatergate, and Limbaughgate, and still managed to hold on to the presidency until the bitter end is a man that we all should be thankful for (especially Republicans, who wouldn't have a common cause if Billy Boy had never been elected )

Clinton was on the Daily Show recently, and like always he spoke very well even if what he said was bullcrap. i liked Stephen Colbert's part on the show about unifying all the activist factions within the Democratic party.

I'm not an across-the-board Clinton defender, but I think a lot of what happened to him was the fault of the neo-cons who couldn't handle Daddy Bush losing, and the end of the Reagan Era. Sometime during 1998, I just up and abandoned any lingering ties I might have had with my Republican past (yes, there once was a time when I was on the Dark Side). That whole episode just went too far.

Anyway, keep the goodwill coming, people!
