Me and JG were there went this happened. But, sadly, we were ligging backstage knocking back the Aftershocks (you think I'd learn!) so missed all the shenanigans out-front.

I'm surprised. That definetly wouldn't happen here - although I wish that would've happened to Jay-Z at the HFS festival in DC. Unfortunately, this is the US of A, where everyone knows "99 problems" and "Wanksta", while decent bands go unnoticed.

If 50 Cent has been shot at as many times as he claims :skeptic: , then a few coins & bottles shouldn't bother him too much.

Did anyone else see the MTV Video Music Awards a few nights ago? I only watched it 'cos me & the missus thought it would be fun to place 10p bets on all the nominees, but talk about a mutual appreciation society! Everyone sucking up to Alicia Keyes, Jay-Z in the audience "dad-dancing" to Kanye West, & P. Diddy instructing the youngsters & go & vote on November 2nd. It was cringeworthy!

And I always thought rappers & hip-hop stars were supposed to be cool. They all looked like a bunch of sad, rich geeks in their OTT suits & hats. I can't remember the last time I encountered a pop star who is genuinely "cool"... :eek:
