Japan double UK compilation called Exorcising Ghosts, near mint condition, for only 10 dollars.

Soul singer Andre Williams collaboration LP with Canadian garage rockers The Sadies, Red Dirt, with a great cover of Psycho; better than Elvis Costello's, but not as cool as the Beasts Of Bourbon.

Fuck me, I was listening to safety dance and I ran right now!

But surely I would never buy a vinil of A Flock of Seagulls. Geee... :evil4:

I think it's Run 2 via EBay... or maybe the Way of Life promo that came in broken...

But I decided to stop this non-sense, I don't want any vinyl near my collection anymore, and I'd probably love to get rid of those I have, I didn't touch those in years.

Bloody hell, it's been years since I bought anything on vinyl. I think it was in 1992, the KLF's "1987: What The Fuck Is Going On?" It was either that or a New Order album or 12" but I'm pretty sure I'd bought all my NO vinyl collection by then.

What I do know for certain is that KLF album cost about twice what albums normally cost at the time. And I no longer have a turntable to listen to my vinyl collection on. :nonono:

Morrissey - You Are the Quary Smiths - Rank Smiths - The Wolrd Won't Listen New Order - BLT 12" Joy Division LWTUA 12" LWTAU 7" JD Attompshere/She's Lost... 12" New Order Substance double 12" Cat Stephens - Greatest Hits John Denvor - Live (don't shoot me please!!!!) funilly enough he does a good version Run, maybe New Order should sue him although he is dead so they have left it too late.

All this thanks to a sale on at my local record shop. I got change from £25 out of this lot!

Found a 12" EP today by ex-Penetration singer Pauline Murray, whose first solo album, which I rather like, was produced by Martin Hannett and Steve Hopkins, with an appearance by Vini Reilly. Called Hong Kong, and credited to PM and The Saint, it's got two originals plus covers of songs of John Cale and Alex Chilton. Very nice taste Pauline.

The last record I acquired was "Confusion" (1983). I bought it from a decent chap at some Amnazon free shop. It still sounds really good. But I'm not gonna buy LPs anymore. I'm getting younger and that's why I keep getting estanged from vinyl stuff all the more. Soon I'll be capable to listen only to DVD-quality music.

JD-STILL - Hessian bound edition NO-SPECIAL DJ COPY - Japanese promo album (Very nice I think!!)

I bought them both a couple years back when I still lived in Japan, but they wre great finds for me!!

I love the Japanese record stores...1 copy of an obscure Oingo Boingo or New Order record...and 96 copies of something like Xanadu by Olivia Newton-John or some shite like that!!

Always made things interesting.

I recently bought the re-release of the 'Blue Monday' 12" single on US Import, and I'm just about to get hold of a copy of the 808State 1988 acid remixes.

You could say I am a very keen collector of quality 12" singles.

the last time must have been 2 or 3 years ago from a second hand record store, the following 7" singles:

James - How was it for you Smiths - That joke isn't funny anymore Stranglers - Duchess Stranglers - European female Madness - Embarrassment Madness - Grey day Specials - Do nothing Kula Shaker - Hush Catatonia - Strange glue (limited edition coloured one) Sisters of Mercy - Dominion B-52's - Love shack

Funny thing is I ended up paying a fortune for those.... around 60 f#*#ing euros!!! Not to mention that all NO singles were way out of my budget... :(

The last vinyl I bought was a reissue of "Five Live Yardbirds" from the mid-eighties, thus worthless collector-wise but a nice pick-up anyway
