Factory Records is the best thing to come out of Manchester-JD/NO wouldnt be the group they were/are if they had been on a major from day one. Truth is love him or hate him AHW is a fuckin genius,along with Gretton,Erasmus,Saville & Hannett.

Wilson was lucky. it was just they got a big bankable band that allowed him/them to fuck the rest of it up for many, many years. then he got lucky again with the mondays, turning up at a hacienda talent night.o
