Scissor Sisters are playing a show in town. On my birthday, no less. Would this be an appropriate way for me to spend my birthday? Are they worth seeing?

I liked them, although I wouldn't have spent 60 quid seeing them as the main act (they were at a festival)
They give a good performance live anyway, better than NO do anyway
Havnae heard their album but I have heard them play a live lounge session on Radio 1, they sounded ok to me. You'll be pissed as fuck anyway, so it doesnae really matter what they sound like me ole fruitcake![]()
Well, I saw them this summer at a festival and I can tell you they're worth seeing!!! I had huge fun at their gig, which was probably one of the funniest I've seen in my whole life!
Someone I knew went to see them, and came back dressed as Ana Matronic ![]()
They seem to inspire real devotion in their followers, so fair play to them. Not my kind of thing though. Voices that sing that high do me heed in.
Too camp for my liking, they spent ages talking in between songs when I saw them. Perhaps due to a lack of material but I had to drink an awfully large amount of Red Stripe to stay there for the duration...

They must have a new single/album due out soon though. I've seen them live twice, bloody brilliant too. Camp as Christmas though :D
this is what they wanted, all of you hypnotized new order fans to flock to see scissor sisters because that talentless C*nt sang on that retarded song.
you'd better J-E-T over there then

how about Patricia Morrison replaces Ana Matronic in the Scissor Sisters? Could be interesting.prob is a bit rough theses days though

Album's great, and they were good at LIVE 8 too.Come across as a band equivalent of The Rocky Horror Show, seeing as the audience dress up to the nines for it,feather boas an' all.I'd go and see them but I'm worried about laddering my tights.![]()

They are a big queer campy kiss.
My first thought upom hearing them was "Dear God it is pop music from straight out of Elton John's closet."
and I love their cover of "Comfortably Numb" I doubt Roger and Dave from The Floyd imagined it done like THAT
