Nickelback "same song"

this is too funny. someone took the shite pop-metal band nickelback and set it up so you can hear two "different" #1 singles through each stereo channel. the songs are un-doctored, and the tempo, every chorus, and every bridge are the same. I know its painfull to listen to but stick it out as long as you can, I was pissing myself laughing.

Nice one, I could only take about 30 seconds of that. I dunno, pretty much all of the music I hear on pop radio sounds a lot like some other song, this one though takes the cake.

I liked their first single (whatever the hell it was called), but since then i've hated everything they have ever released.

From what I could recall of the 80s pop stuff - Wham had the same thing going on with two of their big hits - "Young Guns Go For it" and "Bad Boys" - you lay one over the top of the other and not only are they both in the same key, they're also the same BPM and structure - that includes the ending bridge as well. Utterly unbelievable!

I find Nickleback and Chad Kroger's, or whatever his name is solo efforts, offensive.

my friend sent me this link to NPR which goes into more detail about how this came to be, an interview with the guy who layed the tracks over each other, apparently Nickelbacks retort is funny, but I can't open the link at work, if anyone listens, please elaborate on some of the interview.

what pissed me off was the bassist of nickelback comparing his band to AC/DC.
