The UEFA cup draw has left me with a great dilemma:
My favourite Scottish team are playing my favourite Dutch team on the day my daugther celebrates her 7th birthday !
Now if only she appreciated the beautiful game as much as her mum and dad do, but no, she hates football and moans everytime it's on the telly. I've already suggested taking the kids but she's not interested. All you parents will appreciate my dilemma. What should I do

Can you not give her a special treat the night before, explaining that you have to go away for a bit the following night?
Explain to her that if she doesn't like football, there is no possible way that she can be your child, and then tell her to piss off and find her real mum!!!

Having said that, the Jambo's have now played 3 away games in Europe without getting beat this season, ye never know.

I'm not a Jambo supporter but will try and make it to one of the murrayfield games. Bound to be plenty of room afterall.

Don't assume that. Normally I can turn up late for a Shelbourne match, pay me tenner and walk into a half empty terrace in their 15K stadium.
I couldn't get tickets for them versus Split there, or them versus Deportivo and Lille in Lansdowne. Which is 35K.
yes, we did go, and we sure enjoyed ourselves. The wee fella was in awe of the Kuip and the crowds, and got right into the spirit of things (I'll now have to stop him using certain words and expressions). The Jambo spirit was kept high throughout. Even at 3-0 down, we were the noisest of the lot. Got a text message from Derek's brother saying that he'd seen Derek on the telly twice. Poor sod is mortified that his hibee pals may have seen him as well amongst the boys in maroon :D
Will be watching the tape tonight to have another look at some of the iffy decisions this ref made, but at the end of the day, Feijenoord were class and Hearts just didn't match up.
The Jam Tarts can consider themselves very, very unlucky.
Saw some of the game on telly last night. Feyeneoords first goal was mental, one guy was 5 yards offside - but deemed not to be interfering with play.....even though the goalscorer had to jump above him for the header!?!?!?
Plus you's had a perfectly good goal disallowed.
All this brings back memories of us being cheated against the Currant Buns time after time;)

I took Ollie and 15 of her pals dancing on Wednesday afternoon, and bought her the biggest doll's house I could find. She's fair chuffed, with a party still to come tomorrow as well. The things you have to do ... Needless to say, I'm looking forward to Sunday :D
