oz and SVU: what's the deal?

tristan gave me the idea for this one.

fantastic shows, both of them. anyone else watch? one thing, do they have the same producers or something?

Oz the prison drama ?

It was/is a staple of late night channel four. Rather weird for uk viewers of Alf Garnett as Marigold the gay housekeeper( Eamonn Walker ) features as the muslim prisoner Said in all the seasons so far shown , good show but C4 do a shit job pushin it , always enjoy the ones I have caught , yet it never seem occupy a regular slot . Usually found in the early hours post-club schedule . And, most definitely post-watershed fare.

Never saw much of Oz when it was on (little access to HBO), but I gotta say I got hooked on the SVU reruns on USA this past summer. Pretty good knockoff of a kick-ass original (Law and Order). Can't stand Criminal Intent, though.

Just got HBO and noticed I just missed it last night, will look for it soon.
