They did? Damn they must be a killed group of assassin, and how can I get them to kill you Seb? Even if they did allow federal funding of stem cell research how the fook do you know they would have found a cure? Anyways if you are so concerned about stem cell research then fly to California and help promote the passage of Proposition 71.

I cant help thinking its totally ironic that someone whose only famous for playin Superman had such a tragic end, although i think its a disgrace that this is the top news story today in this world we live in.

I never forget about 8 years ago when I was going to school and a guy on a sensationalist news radio program told about Reeves accident and how it happened. He did a dramatic pause with background music and then completed: "SUPERMAN IS DIEING!!!"

RIP Reeves. I think u did an important contribution as an example of how life can be hard and how medicine can as always could make our life better. Shame that some low-IQ guy didnt understand.

Irony was that I was listening to a new Radiohead boot last night, backing music before they came on stage was Laurie Anderson's "O Superman". Set me thinking about her dying recently and about the plight of Christopher Reeve. He was already dead and I didn't know. Life's cruel sometimes. Superman in a chair. Fate. Maybe there is a God after all.

Lenin killed Superman. Started the Revolution before Russia was an industrialized society thus dooming the Socialist putsch to the monster it became. Had he waited the movement would have been swift and less brutal and able to spread beyond its borders instead of becoming the Stalinist totatlitarian regime surrounded by enemies.

Of course, Chris Reeve would have not been a rich actor that could afford horses....

The poor guy deserved better; he went from being a forgotten star to a spokesman for, and an example of, those living despite having nearly everything taken away from them because of a stupid accident. And the fact that the Bushies refused to fund something that may very well have given him back all that he lost is just tragic. I really hope someday the Repubs who in some measure contributed to this get what's coming to them

Christopher Reeve RIP

RIP Christopher, your plight was a sad one indeed. Certainly made my wasting of an hour of my life watching you in Monsignor, worst movie I've ever seen, before I left the theater, seem like the extremely trivial matter that it was.

I was shocked by this news in the context that in last friday's debate, John Kerry mentionned specifically the case of Christopher Reeves and at the end of that part of the debate concerning stem cell research, he said something like "...because I, too, believe that one day soon Chris Reeves will be able to walk again".

How sad... :(
