Anyone in here from Missouri? Especially the KC area? I doubt it, but it is worth a shot.

I've got a lot of family in Springfield, and I think one of my cousins lives in Kansas City, though he may have moved recently. I went to his wedding in 97, I believe, at a small town near the Arkansas border called Houston, and stayed at a hotel which had a plaque on the wall saying that country singer George Jones had stayed there in 1982 or something. Really exciting times down there..............

Jason, let me know when you will be DJing up here again.

As for George Jones, he has the best voice for country music bar none.

I drove through Missouri once. I remember a lake, a vacation spot I suppose, and there was a giant billboard that said "Ride the Ducks...Do it!". What the fuck was that about?

You are probably talking @ Branson. That place is like a bad trip. Like a red neck Vegas w/o gambling. "Ride the Ducks" refers to a tour where the bus is an amphibious vehicle that is painted like a duck. I think you actually go into the water at some point or something. I DJ'd there @ 5 years ago and instead of a disco ball hanging from the ceiling, it was a disco saddle! Scary place.
