I am increasingly disturbed by the religious right. They seem to have totally forgotten the central message of Christianity. Of forgiveness and inclusisivity.
What did Jesus say. "Turn the other cheek." "love each other as you love youselves"
What did Jesus do. He sought out sinners and communed with them.
What does the religious right say. Anyone who sins (read abortion, single mothers etc) should be punished.
Let me not go into W's religious views here, other than to say that they are very old testament.

I've seen way to many of these conversations denegrate into nothing more than members insulting each other. I'd love nothing more than for everybody to make rational, fact based, statements. But they always seem to come down to somebody calling somebody else an idiot (or any other of a myriad of similar statements). Get what I mean???
