John Peel stage at Glastonbury

Heard on the radio this morning from Michael Eavis that he wants to name a stage at the Glastonbury Festival after the great man himself.

A fitting tribute I think :)

Its the new music stage,which is quite fitting.

All kidding aside, nothing could be finer for the man who brought us "The Peel Sessions"

Hopefully they'll dig up some decent new bands to put on said stage. Not that they'll have trouble finding bands with Peel's name on it....

Morrissey now looks like the late English comedian Bob Monkhouse.
