Very sorry to hear of your loss Mick, I was worried about my dad as well, but he's gotten back to where he used to be. Lost in June the grandmother who was a big influence on me, and her husband has Alzheimer's, about the only good thing of that is that he still remembers me, which is nice. I don't take anything for granted anymore.
Peter Gabriel was really nice to my friend and me outside the Paramount in Seattle after his soundcheck. Jon Langford and Sally Timms of The Mekons were also two of the very friendliest people I've ever come across, which is one reason I love them so much.
