I've been seeing ads for the new biopic about Peter Sellers on HBO (well, when HBO comes in somewhat decently) for a while now, and am quite excited that the premier date for it is soon (December 5th). Almost makes me forget how shitty the election was...almost.

Anyway, any fellow Sellers-aholics on here? If so, you plan on watching it? I realize in person that the guy was a spoiled brat, but on film? ....genius

I'm crushing your head, I'm crushing your head! :mallet: (that's the best I could do)

I assume GD is about the porn industry....everyone knows there's nothing more depressing than seeing porn stars in their everyday loves

Hehe, I love Peter Sellers btw. The porn documentary is about the industry in the SF Valley. Since I know that Chatsworth is the porn capital, I just wanted to see if I could see some streets near my mom's house.

I see, I see...wouldn't it be a trip if your mom's house was the of the Valley porn industry? :evil4:

Anyway, I get the same way when anything that happens in Walhalla gets on the news. Fucking Greenville news snobs very rarely come out here, though. Pricks

I'll watch the Sellers one if I stumble across it, it's got to be miles better than watching Terminator 3 for any amount of time. I did see the part of the first episode of Down In The Valley, and damn, it seemed to me that they came thisclose to showing actual penetration. Gotta say, though, that Jenna Haze's enthusiasm for her work was something else.:thumb:

I'm more interested in that bird, Claudine Longet. If you know what I mean.

I don't really care about Mr. Sellers, apart from his late-60s party movies.

I always heard he was an asshole in real life and treated his kids like shit.

Watch this yet Tabsy? I've been catching it in bits and pieces due to my schedule, but I've really liked what I've seen so far, Geoffrey Rush is quite believable as PS, and has been accorded high marks for capturing some of what made him tick.

Saw it on premiere night (Dec. 5, and have caught it on occasion since then. Top-notch work by Rush (glade he got a Golden Globe for it, even though I like Mos Def in "Something the Lord Made" as well). Looking forward to any DVD release there might be...

It's a shame that they skipped over his radio career so quickly. This WAS what made him famous initially after all! Surely seeing Spike Milligan repeatedly trying to kill Sellers during his bouts of poor mental health would have made good footage? And, I'm sorry, but Rush as the young Sellers was shite. Things improved as Sellers aged though..
