Madchester night proved to be a hit, quite a few people turned up to see DJ SZV and his able sidekick DJ Smooth (John Oliff) spinning some discs. Got very very drunk which was not the idea, but then again I am not complaining. I must apologise to DoN for phoning him every time I had New Order or Electronic on :lol:

Anyways set list for the night was….

Yes...well...I don't know if it was a cock-up on the Celtic website or what...but I couldn't watch OR listen to the match live...almost makes me wonder what I give them the money for each month!!!

And of course...we would much rather see Portsmouth and Man City on the telly over here... :nonono:

I were so proud seeing ma big cuz up there, honestly i were. You missed Temptation off yer setlist there wee man, but otherwise it's fairly spot on.

Bring on the next one. Soon Hooky'll be asking if he can support you.

And you need to practise yer monotone DJ voice a wee bit, Shug, there's too much life in it. Think BLAND.

Shug, you certainly captured the spirit of madchester with your set. I went to one in Dundee once and the frickin Macc Lads came on. The danny-floor became strangely bereft of women for some reason.......... Still, they did follow it with 'shack up'.

The entire set looks cool. I bet it was a great one. Though, I've never thought of Blur as Madchester. But hell it's nice to have there anyway!

Blur, The Farm, Flowered Up and The Primals aren't necessarily classed as a Madchester band, but their music played a big part at the same time as most of the others played;)

As fer Texas....offer Jeff free beer all night and I'm sure he'd give it a go
