It's definitely the Pogues, cos we are going with Tamzin's cousin and her partner who arranged our trip to Rome, it was there they said they had 2 spare tickets, I just hope I aint getting venues confused, maybe it's Birmingham we are going to??? I'll get her to phone her cousin this morning

I'll still be stuck up here in this doghole so can't make it, unfortunately. But I did catch 'em on the last reunion tour at the Manc Academy and they were as Pogue-tastic as ever, even if it looks like MacGowan's caused a global pie shortage these days.

And Shug: "I'll be wearing a Celtic top"??? At a Pogues gig???? That'll make you easy to pick out..... :scratch:

settin off in 30 minutos , fer the local , landlord provided a room fer a Strummer memorial and some poguetry in motion , hit the streets of the dirty auld towns neighbour at five-ish and then on to a drink and a cavort .

Razorlight took the fuckin lid off the arena last night and the manics went on to ensure it fuckin stayed in the ether , I guess the Pogues are gonna knock the feckin walls down , and the Saw Doctors too .... tinnitus by monday and a feck of an hangover:D
