Me and a buddy were riding to an "academic team" competition back when I was at USC, the other passenger insisted on listening to the Wall all the way through to our destination. After he fell asleep, my pal and I both agreed it was time to change to something less depressing

Kick-ass movie, though

I saw em perform it at Earls Court in 79, they only ever did it live 29 times before WATERS left and they were booked world wide to do 113 shows.

I suppose seeing the movie once and seeing it performed live a few times by the original set would be good. But I'd be damned if I I had to listen to the entire lp again.
