I hate both teams but hate the Pats even more, so the Iggles better win. I feel dirty for wanting TO to do well

Not a big football guy, but I think the safe bet is on the Pats. Then again, this past year has been all about "The Underdog" (Detroit Pistons, Red Sox) so all there would need to be to complete that is a Eagles shocker. So it really doesn't matter, but I'll watch the Halftime show in case Paul McCartney has a wardrobe malfunction

I grew up in Philly, and thus despise Eagles' fans, but I'm living in Boston and hate the college students who suddenly start rioting them the Pats or Red Sox win. But, I'd like the Philly fans to stop singing that insipid Eagles' song ("fLy, Eagles, fly, on the road to victory..."), so I'm hoping the Pats win.

hate is a strong word, whats to hate about the Patriots? Im proud to be a Pats fan because we have a humble QB, no me-me-me arrogant wide recievers, just an all around bunch of hard playing guys who do their talking on the field, not in the locker room. So what's to hate? thier sucsess?

I'll grant you that, quiet QB and no real asshats on the team BUT what's there to like about the team?

I think most people wanted the underdog to win.

1. Dillon is an arse (play in the Pro Bowl jackass!)
2. Vrabel is a douche.
3. Media overrates the 9 point dynasty, whereas the media never licked the balls of the Boys 60+ point dynasty.
4. Pats should never have been in the first SB of this dynasty because the ref in the Raider game made the most inane call ever.
5. Brady took the job of one of my favorite qb's of all time, Drew Bledsoe.

was an ass, claimed he would shut his mouth and play for a winning team if cincy would trade him , and he delivered, big time. Why should he risk a career ending hit in the joke bowl since he is already injured?

2. Vrabel is a douche.

what, did he steal your girlfriend or something? im not seeing anything douche like on or off the field... oh, the TD's at tight end, i forgot, very douche like.

Media, Patriots, two different things. The media loves to talk about the dynasty, the Pats downplay it every chance they get.

calling the "tuck rule" a legit rule in the books, as dumb as the rule is, was the correct call. and obviously the players assoc. can't be to upset with the rule, becuase no one ever made a stink after the game, and the rule stil stands. Now the "chuck" rule, that Tony Dungy whined about after last years playoff game, that was enforced. Got Manning lots of records... not much else.

5. Brady took the job of one of my favorite qb's of all time, Drew Bledsoe.

You can have that one, but Bledsoes decline was obvious in New England, and demonstrated in Buffalo. All he ever did was blow games for us when they were on the line, Brady, I need not even go there.

5. I still believe Bledsoe could do well with the Pats and almost any other QB, and honestly I would be suprised if Brady was to continue to do well without Weis.

Oh yeah Rodney Harrison is a dirty player much like every other Pats defender. Also I'm bitter of how refs call Pats games (usually not calling the number of pass interferences the D deserves ).

I'm a bitter bitter sports fan and would love to see the Pats be 0-16 next year and see Belichick get pelted by a snowball from a Jets or Bills fan.
