The skinny one is doing a few dates March/April. I haven't bought anything of his since Guitar & Other Machines. Is anyone more up to date and is it worth going along for the evening?

I've just purchased a ticket for Manchester. So who else is going then?

Flying over is a bit much for DC surely? When are you over, how long for?

Don't worry James, I'm not crossing the ocean just because of Mr. Reilly as I have tickets for another five gigs, although all the others will be in London. I will be in vacations in April and I'm planning to arrive on the 6th and leave on the 26th. On the weekend of 15/16/17 I will be in Mancland and I hope to catch up with some NOOLers there.

Of course I'm also waiting for that bloody New Order warm-up gig that they never manage to arrange.

I love the DC. Listen to "Vini Rielly" each night nearly. Wont be able to make these gigs though. Will have to see them live soon though.

I'll pop over, will pick up ticket this week. Not a good Saturday to be there though, that lot are are at home to Chelsea so there'll be 60,000 southerners in town.

Where's hot on the tourist trail in Mcr and where do you want to see? I do the odd pub, Rusholme high street and museums. I don't do Shopping, Old Trafford or graveyards.

Let us know what you'd like to see or do in the north and we'll try sort something out.

Yes, if your in manchester, and you like football, there is only one place to go. Get on the 192 to stockport and edgeley park to see division 2 football of the highest standard.

Yeah - I think the only place to see the Durutti Column would be MCR. Went over for a day last January to see the L.S.Lowry @ the Lowry, get some records, and see the Saville show. Totally skint at the moment (and trying to save for some Summer gigs), but would love to see Vini n Bruce. MCR has to be done again sometime soon- Its quite a city, pity they are trying so hard to make it more like London or Barcelona (you know the coffee shop and manicured public space model).
