Suicide: Hunter S. Thompson RIP

Hunter S. Thompson, author of such books as "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," has killed himself. I always thought that his death should've been long ago, given the years of hard living and drugs. However, I never thought that he would end up like this. One of my very favorite writers for years now...read almost all of his books. Fucking sad. Suicide. RIP Dr. Thompson.

Great writer/reporter, and it's ufcked up to see that he died this way. Sad times indeed.

Damn, damn damn. We needed to study him as he aged. I am shocked, one of my fave reads. Spent most of the late 80s trying to ape him.
