Care in the COMMUNITY

Anyone who does something GOOD for a member of their community then jot it down in here and inspire this bunch of NOOL's into helping out a bit more than they normally do.No jokey made up anecdotes though,just post your normal crap in ASK ROCKET or some other SAD thread.This is to get us all into a better frame of mind for when we meet up this summer.Someone needs to teach SHUG how to put his hand in his pocket.Or to get BEN to share photos of his wife in underwear(requested by BLUE ORDER and ME).So come on now how are you helping your fellow human beings.

Today i have done SOD ALL so can't be much help yet.

Dear Rocket, I was a very good girl today cause I rated all the threads on the sane side as excellent. :D

Last month, me and some other people from our department at work, decorated 2 rooms at a Childrens Hospice.

It is a place where sick kids are looked after to give their parents a break, and also where very pooly kids die. They have a garden of rememberance and some of the ages of the kids are 2. 3 and 4, I had a lump in my throat I am not ashamed to tell you.

It really humbled me, and made me realise how lucky I am to have a healthy      3 1/2 year old son. It was very rewarding, knowing I'd helped in a small way. I have already agreed to decorate 2 further rooms.
