i quite like the cure, but i despise the new fashion for writing in text messagese: ppl, l8r, u r, etc. and it was rampant on the site. perhaps this is really what george orwell meant by newspeak.

Or it's just the demise of the written English language due to a youth population usurped by lassitude.

I used to like the cure till I discovered New Order. Now I like to make fun of them every now and then since they owe a lot to Joy division & new order. I've stumbled onto some pretty bad forumns, & it only makes me laugh at the cure more. And congrats Pope, you should try getting band from a series of cure forumns, lol.

I posted on here a bit back Churchy about being banned from a Christian music board (some people and I know were making "charitable donations" to their cause ;) ); they had a What Are You Listening To? thread, and I said Smack My Bitch Up by Prodigy. Obviously, that went over well.....:D
