Conor, the fact that i am sitting up here at 1am can only mean one thing, its deadline/exam time!

Despite the fact that if you were doing politics degree, you would most likely fail (especially if i was marking it :evil4: ) you're not really a bad lad so could luck with the engineering stuff.

I'll be in touch soon regarding glasto.

Also, good luck to other fellow students at this traumatic time of year. Although think of me for a second, who doesnt get a summer off and have to write a dissertation.

I'm writing one of three papers I am required to submit for graduation. It is late-- for the professor, annoyingly so.* After submitting this paper, he will (if he is not annoyed beyond all endurance) return it with editing comments, which I must take into account when revising my paper. Then, I will re-submit it for a grade.

While I am waiting for his comments, I must research an assigned topic, write a paper in the form of a legal memo on my research, and submit that for a grade. These two papers must be completed before the month is over.

Afterwards, I must re-write a final paper, the first draft of which has already been submitted. When I have submitted my second draft, around the beginning of August, I will have completed all of my requirements for graduation.

No exams for me this semester, but more work than can be done within the time limits.

Good luck on your exams, fellow students! :thumb:

* And yet here I am posting on NOOL; perhaps I should omit that bit of information when I apologize for the lateness of my paper... :evil4:

Fucking papers....

I'm getting ready to start researching one on Canadian identity in Guy Maddin's flick "The Saddest Music in the World," and another one analyzing the relationship between Andre Breton and Antonin Artaud.

My current paper is one on the restrained US Foreign Policy towards North Korea. When it is finished it will be replaced by one concerning Turkeys membership of the European Union.

Thanks for that. It'll take more than luck though!

Id take a dissertation over exams any day. 2 5am cram starts in 2 days, and the couple of hours sleep Im getting are dominated by fucking faces and faceless equations of engineering. Glasto is a good strong thought to guide you through the exams.

Id suggest the fact that Mad Kim actually has WMDs and wouldn't think twice about hitting South Korea is the principal reason that Mad Monkey and the other US chiefs have been tip-toeing around him and haven't called in the redneck army.

What about doing a dissertation on the following "The lax attitude of the US government to Israel, her human rights abuses, and Nuclear threat" :evil4: I dont suppose if I wrote it you would mark it so well?

Anyhow - I look forward to reading the paper. Good luck with it - and to anyone else unluck enough to have exams.

I've already done a paper mentioning the nuclear capabilties of Israel. It was mostly targeting Iran and North Korea though. No surprise there :D
