This morning, the local weather forecast (as well as the Weather Channel) was calling for heavy thunderstorms all day, or at least rain showers. And sure, it did rain...for about twenty minutes. Then it became sunny and warm, not a cloud in sight ![]()
Thus my wondering: are meterologists full of shit, or what? :p
I mean, if my job was basically to say "it's gonna be one thing" and it's the complete opposite, I'd be out on my ass in a week ![]()
What exactly does a meterologists do? I'm sure there's classes they have to take, they have to be good at math. But a lot of it's just plain dumb luck (or, like today, a lack thereof). Hell, I could be a "meterologist" if all I did was hang up different varieties of weather possibilities on a dart board and aim. "Tonight, expect heavy rain, tornado-like winds, and the Rapture" ![]()
Anyway, just wanted to vent (don't get me wrong, I love the fact that it didn't rain today. made my job easier) ![]()
