just hello to a certain simon gallup fan and NOOLer! they actually announced gallup's birthday on the radio this a.m., morning edition on NPR~ thought you'd think it noteworthy.

Indeed it is Simon's birthday, but he's 45, not 49, for he was born in 1960. So, to mark such an occasion, here are some pictures:
