I came across a little village in Upper Austria called:

Ironically the other sign means. "Please, not so fast".

this reminds me of town in pennslvania that i cant remember the name. I was driving from buffalo to new york city which is about a 8 hr drive. Stopped at this town with population of 65 for some eats. Got some ice cream about a couple miles down from the highway exit, and their was about 30 people there. So does mean half the population was at this ice cream joint?

There's a Walla Walla in the US. This is a town in Aus, NSW, Near Albury, settled by Australian/German Lutherans.

Actually I'd like to nominate about a third of Aus place names.

I have to nominate my hometown of Walhalla. It was supposed to be "Valhalla" after the 'garden of the gods' in Norse mythology, but I take it somebody changed that to "W" in anticipation of the rise of the Antichrist to the office of President sometime in the distant future....:evil4:

In my state, there's an old highway marker that has two signs pointing in opposite directions. One says "Clinton", the other says "Prosperity". My redneck Republican neighbors used to chuckle about that one when Clinton came to office

Joke's on them :p

I second that about time we had someone from Sydney. Most of us Aussies here seem to be from Melbourne or Canberra with the odd Adelaide interloper.

Thank you, thank you. I don't have anything funny to add so I'll just tell a dumb joke that a fellow NO fan told me.

Prince Charles is going to visit Australia and is telling Mummy about his itinerary.

Chaz: "First I am going to open a new library building in Sydney, then I am going to give a talk about organic farming in Adelaide, then I am going to meet some young people in Cunnamulla"

And mum says "Wear the fox hat."
