Just having a laugh at the "supporters united" website and their pains over the impending transformation into the Buccaneers, I found this thread Anti-Buccaneers gig

If the worst came to the worst and New Order played such a gig, how would you feel?

Only one thing would keep me from seeing a NO gig based on what it is they're playing for................

and that would be a movement to ban David Hasselhoff from ever singing again or starting more "Baywatch" series :evil4:

I'd go to a new order gig, even if it was a fund raiser for the frigging Republican party...

or a gig promoting the greatness of Dubya...

Sorry, I guess my hypocrisy knows NO bounds...

You people have no principles. Haven't you ever had to sacrifice what you want for what you need? Haven't you ever had to say "no, I don't care what everyone else says, I'm not gonna do it"? Sometimes you have to take a stand and live by your beliefs and values.

Sincerely, Tony Blair :evil4:

Malcolm Glazer, a Yank, also owner of the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who upped and bought Manchester United, though he has no apparent knowledge or love of the original football.

So he's the anti-Steinbrenner (he won't be browbeating them for losing all the time, I mean)

I don't see what all the upset is, doesn't everyone know by now that America has a right to go overseas and take over whatever it wants?

Sincerely, George W. Bush :cowboy:

I thought most of you guys would be anti-glazer. It doesnt seem that way. It just seemed to me that most of you are football purists.

Or maybe an uneducated on this issue.

I'd be anti-Glazer if it was -any other club-. But its Man United. So I couldn't give a damn.

I believe the musicians involved are Mani from the Roses, Terry Hall, Richard Ashcroft & Bobby Gillespie. My guess is Barney wont bother

Mind you if it was LFC we'd have Cilla, Tarby, fookin Beatles....:scream:

It's one of them guys who come to do your windows. The Brits hate them, always cold calling and door knocking, trying to flog double glazing...
