Some common American stereotypes of Brits (and only half of them are actually true):

-- Brits have bad teeth :D -- British men are bad in bed  -- Brits are all snobs  -- Brits have a really dry humor  -- Brits are more suicidal b/c of the weather :banghead: -- Brits hate all surrounding European countries  -- Brits are fashionable :hat: -- British men are pansies :faint: -- Brits tell bad jokes  -- Brits look pasty-pale  -- Brits steal everything from Americans :nono:

:abovelol: A common British stereotype of Americans is they are dumb, particularly when it comes to stereotyping Brits:laugh: see above for evidence. We are the most brave, proud, best joke telling, wonderful lovers on Earth to my mind.We ofcourse have a proud history and heritage which Yankee doodle wishes it had,but never can for another 1000 years or more.We ar'nt called GREAT Britain the world over for nothing..Whoever heard of a the British surrendering?Face it our American cousins, the British are very special indeed, and I suspect all you would like to be yourselves, except maybe you would like to keep your own dental healthcare:nod: I can laugh aloud at the ignorance of those stereotypes but not Britishmen are PANSIES:nonono: One glance at our history blows that out of the water:nod:

Guys, guys, can't we all just get along......and hate on the French :evil4:

I can only imagine what some of the Brits must've thought when I posted my location as being in "the South". They must have wondered how I could possibly know how to get online and type correctly :toothless:

Fortunately I have done nothing to get rid of that stereotype

Stereotypes.. I already put my foot in my mounth by saying that Bernard Sumner was "british", meaning "cold and reserved"... so here you have one :D

And well, also probably a false rumour, but british women are not interested in sex at all... :D

That's the usual stereotypes you can hear, and trust me, we do have some of them here since most of the english have roots in the UK.

Now, I won't start with canadian or french stereotypes

Ah, Spotty, you know I meant just the ones in France. You Candians are alright. You gave us Kids In The Hall, John Candy, and Lorne Michaels. But we'll get over that and all will be forgiven when you become the 51st state :evil4:

I'll get my coat :faint:

Nicolas, I am very sorry to inform you that you are not French at all, though you think you are because French is your native language. You are Canadian. I know, this is shocking news, but please, remain calm.

When I was in Washington DC 15 years ago for a job, I met a man there who was an alcoholic. But he told me that the doctor told him that it was ok for him to drink wine. But not wiskey or beer.

And he drank wine alot

Isn't that strange, or is it a sterotype?

:confused2:

i played a lot of street hockey growing up in buffalo. It was loads of fun getting smack in the head with a stick.

Buffalo should be an honorary candian city. Much more in common then new york city.
