Dan Savage, a Village Voice columnist, created this word out of spite of Senator Rick Santorium. This senator, a christian fundamentlist is bad news. It is quite funny, because when you google him, the first listed is defintion of santorum.

Inspired by new decoder word from other thread.

santorum is my favourite word named after a person--beats boycott and sandwich anyday!

other good new(ish) words:

manscaping--i think we all know what this is

actorvist--actors who become poster children for political causes (see jane fonda, martin sheen, and sean penn)

chickenhawk--right-wing, hawkish politicians, advisors, or pundits who did all they could to avoid going to war themselves when they were young (see GW bush, john ashcroft, karl rove, donald rumsfeld, george will, newt gingrich, rush limbaugh, pat buchanan, etc., etc.)

Now, Agentwood, you're just falling for the liberal elite media's lies and falsifications. I mean, sure Rove, Bush, et al could have served in Vietnam, but you see, if they'd been killed or wounded they wouldn't be able to stand firm with our soldiers now and order them to battle for the glory of our Christ-led, respect-for-life, greatest nation on earth! :evil4:

God bless the USA, Lee Greenwood (draft dodger) :hat:
