Our lovely 1 year old Holy Birma cat is gone. She use to be out a couple of hours everyday, but now she's been gone since last morning. 40 hours.
Been out looking for her, but she's all gone.

in january, our cat ran out the door and was missing for five weeks. one sunday we found him meowing at the screen on the back porch! he was hungry and a bit pissed off, but otherwise healthy. so don't give up hope just yet--she probably just went on a holiday. :D
Mine didn't came back for 3 days until I had to leave for Chicago... unfortunatly never seen him back.
My other cat was going crazy without that cat and me being out of the house for 5 days.. so after 10 days missing, my wife went to get another one at the animal shelter...
Sad, but what do you want, it's the second cat in 4 years that I let go and didn't come back.. not sure I will let the cats out again... :(
Bummer. I lost 2 this year. My cat of 17 years disappeared first. Then that fucking little shit ass cat we tolerated, barely, for 12 years ran off after my 3 yeard old tried to kill it. Wifey brought home a black kitten named Casper who has not run off yet.

I've been told they run off when they feel it's their time to die. Twister's cat was 17, that's too much for a cat! The same thing happened to my cat who was 10 when simply disappeared. :(

you just insulted the feline species. i am now going to have to hunt you down and kill you, you know.
When one of ours was this age she disapeared for a week. They are young and adventures that age. Don't worry too much. Our little (half-year old) boy e.g. was recently accidentially locked up in our neighbours cellar for a whole day. So if there's no dead body found on the street there is still hope...
Sometimes I think they have to go back to their UFOs to send their reports.

Yeah, I still hope she comes back. No signs of an accident nearby. Maybe she's looked up somewhere.
Problem is, 2 of our neighbours hate her. I hope they didn't kill her. Or that some kid took her home. It's a Birma, and they are very cute. And she isn't afraid of other people.
She came back this morning ![]()
I got her a necklace today with our adress and phone number. Hopefully this wont happend again.

I told you not to panic too early ;) . But I know how it feels when a little feline is missing...

Very glad for you! Congrats! A necklace is a good thing, too.
Good to hear your cat returned!
