Doves - "Space Face"

At Glastonbury, Doves finished up with what I think Jimi Goodwin called “Space Face”. I remember it being terrific, and made a mental note to check it out when I got home, but I couldn’t find it. I have all 3 albums, and the Double Cd set of B-Sides and Remixes – so its obviously a rare one.

Does anyone know how/where I can get my hands on it?

Also – They are confirmed for the Electric Picnic – which will be my 3rd time seeing them this year. Yowza :thumb:

Space Face is the best thing they've got in their set.

Am I the only one who actually prefered them as Sub Sub?! :blackeye:

Ain't No Love (Ain't No Use) is IMHO the best thing they've done.

Couldn't get on with Full Fathom Five at all - it drifted to the bottom of the pile very quickly. The Delta Tapes is great, but they were already morphing into Doves at that point.

Said it before and I'll say it again - Jaggernath knocks Space Face into a cocked hat in the funky stakes...

The Cedar Room,a simple and wonderful song..Easily their best song...listened to the Some Cities album last night, nothing on it for me.Disapointed :( Loved watching them at Manchester as warm up for our heroes mind:thumb:

Doves/Sub Sub always remind me of that LCD Soundsystem track Losing My Edge- "I hear you and your band has sold their turntables and bought guitars / I hear you and your band has sold their guitars and bought turntables"

"I hear you're buying a synthesizer and an arpeggiator and are throwing your computer out the window because you want to make something real. You want to make a Yaz record."
