Help!
Had to delete Norton cos it kept failing to load which meant I couldnae get online.
Problem is, everytime I try to load WINDOWS MEDIA I keep getting a wee box saying Internal Application Error. This has totally fucked me off cos I have that Dylan thing and a few music videos on this format.
Can anyone help?
I have tried dowmloading Windows Media 9 again, but once I did that box appeared and fuck all again.

I typed in the info into run and says it suceeded, unfortunately when I try to play windows media it still comes up with the same message :(
When I start the computer up it says something about missing a windows ini file - looks like I have fucked this computer in the same way I fucked the last one

Windows update, perhaps?
And uninstall Norton and get F-secure antivirus instead.

You won't believe this....but I went to Windows Update - and the page refuses to feckin load, I have no idea what the fuck I've done, I searched for an uninstall feature on Norton and couldnae find one - so I deleted everything with the word Norton I could find. I have no patience and this is the second computer I have buggered. Now I think I'm gonna have to save like an eddgit for another one
Never just delete a programme. You should have been able to uninstall it within windows. I can barely remember 98SE, been on Xp for so long.
Do you have a system restore facility on your PC, in which case reset it to before you did this.
If that doesn't work, see if there is a PC repairer in a specialist shop (not PC World etc...) and see how much it will cost to put it right instead of just buying a new one, it has to be cheaper.
Cheers Kev, but no system restore on here - and the computer used to belong to ma cousin - so no retrievable disc.

A computer specialist should be able to put it right for you.
There is also a Uninstall program that you can download from Symantec, to get rid of all the Norton Antivirus files. Unistall doesn't erease all the files. Norton is a pain in the ass from time to time.
You can also try to download MS Antispyware. CLICKY
Works pretty good to get rid of spyware.
What version of Windows do you use?
