If Jim is into Interpol now, he will be hooked on Editors in three years' time.

I really like them too. Saw them in Stockholm about 3 years ago. Even spoke with Carlos after the gig.

Editors sounds like an emulation of Coldplay. Interpol is way better IMHO.

If anybody wants to download a remix of Untitled, the Precipicate E.P. and videos of their T.V. appearences, you can get them here. Some good stuff on offer, especially the Untitled remix, great stuff.

I forgot to mention an ad on the site where you can hire Jay Leno for personal appearences, for some unknown reason. :confused2:

Its funny you should say that but I saw an advert for Editors new album on tv and it all looks very joy division to me. Nice!

I never got the whole "Interpol sounds like Joy Division" thing. Maybe it's just me, but I don't hear it. The first Interpol song I heard was "Say Hello to the Angels" and it reminded me of The Smiths with a bit of Iggy Pop.

I'm currently hooked on the Carlos D remix of "Public Pervert."

The Editors : Rip off of U2 ripping off Joy Division.

Interpol have a new song on the Six Feet Under soundtrack: Season Three, called Direction. Rolling Stone magazine says it's "a big disapointment". Can anyone confirm this?

It's a moody instrumental, admittedly not the greatest thing they've ever done. I didn't begrudge the 79p I paid for it off itunes though...

You misunderstand me 00586. He'll be playing all their basslines in our rehearsals now instead of JD ones!
