Seem to be having a few conversations about Interpol at the moment. Cant believe i havent seen them live yet, even though i have had tickets to see them 3 times.

I think Antics is Brilliant. And my fave songs would have to be Take You On A Cruise, Evil and C'Mere

My favourite Interpol song from Antics is Take You on a Cruise and from Turn on the Bright Lights it's Hands Away.

If you like Interpol then check out Editors - The Back Room. They are great, I like them actually more than Interpol. Admittedly a few songs sound a bit like Interpol, but that might be the Joy Division/Early New Order influence both bands have.

Fingers in the Factories, All Sparks and Blood are the best songs on the album but it keeps changing every day. Especially on fingers in the factories certain guitar parts sound a bit like Ceremony or Procession...

NEJ for me, without a doubt (from Antics, that is).

Obstacle 1, Stella and NEJ are great. I prefer Antics at the moment, it's a solid album

"Obstacle 1" or "Evil" for me. Not sure either.

Interesting how people from UK prefer "Antics" to "Turn On The Bright Lights".

Couldn't agree more! Listening to Editors almost non-stop at the minute. There's a very nice sounding bootleg on the p2p networks at the moment from The Barfly, 24th May.

Anyway, back ontopic, Leif Erikson is another fave.

Obstacle 2, definitely

Have not picked up Antics yet, might do so whenever the earth ceases to revolve or some other such event that's bound to happen but not for a while. I have a bad habit of investing in one album only from artists that I'd like to get more of (the Strokes, Old 97's, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, and many others). Procrastination joined with overall lazyness, I guess

Leif Erikson without a doubt! :bow2:

I really love this band and there are too many songs of theirs that i love to list here, so i will go with N.Y.C. the first song of theirs i heard and what a song it is.

As Old Blue will testify, mine changes on a daily basis - but for the purposes of this thread I will narrow it down to the ten to feature most often (in no particular order):

Specialist Untitled NYC Hands Away Roland Leif Erikson NARC Take You On A Cruise Not Even Jail Public Pervert

What a great band...!!!
