We (Flight) played a gig for the record company in London recently (before the lunatics decided to blow everywhere up thankfully). We didn't know but they recorded and filmed it. There are a couple of MP3's on the website if you want to listen to what we sound like live.

Sounds great! I've been a fan since I heard the Shadowplay cover you did. It's great to hear you sound so good live. Fiction Romance is the track that really does it for me, especially the guitar and vocals. I take it you were playing to get signed to a new record lable? I hope all goes well, with songs like these I would image you would.

Losing this game is a new one and will be on the album. Bunnymen references are taken as a compliment - thanks.

Fiction Romance is an older song which has been about for a few years. That won't be on it unless we re record it. Did I already send you the studio versions of these? If not let me know and I will send you them.

Thanks for the comments. We did do Shadowplay at the gig so will have to check if they gave us a recording of it.

We are already signed to Desolation Records. They wanted us to do a gig to try out some new stuff which will be on the album. However it was a specially invited audience (by them not us) so I've no idea if they were really liked or if they used our mailing list.

hey, pretty good actually. we have 3 decent demos already and they didn´t even get to Bentley´s hands yet! so no doubt they´ll get much better eventually. one you already heard, Madness. the other two are called Maybe (more dance oriented) and False (more synthpop based). so it´s comming along pretty well.

now that Sophia is on vacation i´m working alone on another demo but based on her opinions, as it´s one of her personal favourites. so it´ll be a mix between drum&bass, tango and bossa nova. pretty eclectic, ah? ;)

Crossover rythms - love it. Shall I tell Dale you will be mailing him some more tunes?

of course, go ahead. we wanted the songs to be more produced this time before showing them but it could take a while. both Flase and Maybe do sound a little better than Madness but they´re still sounding like home made demos. if that´s enough for you guys then i could send them right away. it´s your call basically ;)

Send them to him as soon as you are happy with them. just email him before cos you know how long it takes him to answer

E-mail will be fine even though I really hate the quality of mp3's. ;) My main optilink mailbox has a limit on it so I wouldn't try and send too much at once. I think I can get about 2 or 3 songs before I get a full notice(gotta get that fixed) and mail starts bouncing. Once I get them off the server it's not a problem. Just click the e-mail button in my post or you can also try to send to cbbentley@gmail.com. Looking forward to hearing 'em!
