Pretty good yeah.but if youre not into their music i could imagine the singing would be a bit irratating.some of the songs on Takk are emotive, life affirming stuff:thumb:

What do you make of Arcade Fire? Heard a few good reivews.

I've got Royksopp's, not overwhelmed. Still listening to Destroy Rock and Roll and just got The Go Team and LCD soundsytem, both pretty good.

Currently giving a second chance to Antics by Interpol...

Otherwise, it's a rotation between Arcade Fire's Funeral & EP, and Coldplay's X&Y

And Interpol's Turn On The Bright lights.. hence why I give a second chance to their 2nd album ;)

Oh, and something about Sirens... anybody heard of it? ;)

i'm more into this royksopp album than the first it seems alot more solid. but i've not had in my Earphones yet walking round town to give it a proper listen, or in my car yet so we'll see about my final evaluation in a few weeks.

arcade fire i only invested in it after reading so many good things about them on here i'm only up to track 5 but so far its good stuff.

i was gonna go see Mylo at T in the park but the mass of people was way too much for my liking.

Might give it a whirl. Tried to convince the Mrs she might want to buy it but it looks like I'll have to part with my own hard-earned.

I also like the last track. Actually, I enjoy the whole album most of the time. To me it's the best new stuff I've heard in quite a while.

the arcade fire were one of the "weird bands" shug referred to in his barcelona piece.

tried to tell him he'd be missing out nby not coming to see them there - they changed the set list around a lot from their uk tour earlier in the year & didn't end with in the backseat

One of those bands that're Too Deep for me, like Mars Volta or Dark Side of the Moon/The Wall-era Pink Floyd.

Massive Attack - Blue Lines, Mezzanine (Angel might even challenge Safe From Harm as one of the greatest openers ever) New Order - Republic, WFTSC, Best Of ACR - MCR Electronic - RTP Architecture in Helsinki - In Case We Die (slowly getting into it)
