I'm finally proud to annonce that the first ever Ice Hockey fantasy league has been created ;)

It's going to be hosted on Yahoo, the live draft will be on September 24th at noon (GMT-5) but you can pre-rank your players to the system will draft for you.

The league can have up to 12 teams, I sent a few invitations, but I really hope I'll be able to fill the spots... finally a fantasy sport I can compete :evil4:

Anybody really interested can tell it here, we need 12 players, I mailed a few people I know that can be interested, so here we go ;)

Nah, hockey was boring... that happened when a crazy american wanted to cash it by adding 9 teams to the league...

Now, it's supposed to be back to offense, so it won't be boring... I'm crossing fingers here.

Playoff hockey is amazing though ;)

But, still, 70% are professional players from outside USA and Canada.

Not sure to follow you there.. 60% of the players in the NHL are canadians...

yes i belive 60% of the NHL are from Canada, the European population of nhl players have grown alot in thelast 10-15 years, and there are always a couple of americans thrown in

Join, to be honest, it will be so hard to predict anything this year, with the new rules & everything, it's anybody's call.. really!

Gee, I guess a lot of people need a hockey fix.

It's impossible to get 2 reasonable price tickets for all season! unless you wish to pay 150$ per ticket, they are gone!

I just bought myself *1* ticket and will go alone to see a Leafs vs Habs game somewhere in March... best I could do..
