I Keep reading that the Go! Team album is superb but not heard any of it.
Am listening to Sigur Ros and nothing else at the moment anyhow.
Haven't heard half of these bands, but I doubt I have missed out on much. I hope M.I.A wins this, at least it's not the same-y boring MOR brit-pop shite that has been dominating these type of awards for a decade.

I like it, but I stop short of calling it superb. The Avalanches comparison isn't too wide of the mark. Think it's more solid effort than Since I left You, I don't think they've got anything as good as the Avalanches' title track, though.

One of the biggest bands in England now. Doing pretty much what the Killers did last year.
They opened live8 in philadelphia and stole the show from what i understand.
