Would I offend anyone there if I ordered a meal without potato?

No offense would be taken, and if it was then they are shallow people who should be more open minded to the eating preferences of visitors. The eastern part of the state is where the bulk of potato growing takes place, so you're likely safe with regard to that around here.

However, if you did not order a sugar beet or some corn...

Where have you been all this time, LE? You're full of laughs.

Have you forgotten the wiener joke episode, DC?

So, how did you spend your time, DC?

And then it's off to Idaho.

I was well into double figures before I entered that state.

How do you explain that one?

Eh???

I was led astray by his current location. I guess he's an emigrant.

Where have you been all this time, LE?

You know - round and round.

You should enlighten me about Australia. For example, which loser is INXS going to select as their new singer?

I didn't think so either, Jonathon.

But your countrymen sure were scratching their heads, chewing their corn cobs and whistling Dixie.

I thought someone living in Australia was more likely to visit the West Coast. However, I then recalled DC has mentioned he used to live in Engerland.

Quite an accurate line of reasoning you've got going there, P.

You don't recall it, DC? I'm shocked. This is the first time I've known your memory to fail. I'm sure LE recalls it.

I don't think I was in on any smallgoods gags, Pats.

Or is the wiener a cunning euphemism for something else?

Whats your Fav state?

Ive drove through Id once.

People seem to be implying Idaho is a good place to drive through.

I think LE has left to look for other threads which mention Boise.

I don't think it's possible to have a favourite state.

I don't actually believe that it's possible to have a favourite anything for that matter.

It was you, DC, who subsequently used that term to characterize the episode. I'm beginning to think that this may not be the real DC, but instead an impostor, a Martian or a pod person who is living a lie among us.
