Just something to play in your head all day, to make things a little easier to get through it all.

As for me, :music:

"A Well-Respected Man" by the Kinks (hey, I didn't say it had to be accurate :p )

Can you email me mp3 of the song, please? I've got only the live version off the concert in Kevin Hall, 1967. :thumb:

I tried, but it seems to be taking forever to load the document (it's been slow for a while). Anyway, I'll try again sometime soon...I promise :thumb:

(though I'm sure it could probably be found on any decent Kinks "best-of")

Thank you! :thumb:

But the song wasn't released as a single back then, hence it's not likely to be included in the hits compilations. I personally own only one Kinks CD collection, "Hit Singles", released obscurely in France in the late 80s. Plus three albums (1966-67).

I think I've got it on a Kinks compilation. Or as they would have called it in the 60s, a Kinks Kompilation.

I'd recommend seeking out "Kinks Kronicles", that's probably the best compilation and I'd be flabbergasted if "Respected Man" wasn't included. Also, I think there's a brand-new compilation that I've seen around (give me a minute and I'll look on Amazon), you might could find that easier than Kronicles

(and yes, this is a shameless attempt to up my post count for the day  )

fame or flashdance always keep me in a cheery mood.

To me a theme song would be the song that cues in when the camera freeze frames on you running off and clicking your heels in midair a la CHiPs, so the theme song for that would have to be Safe European Home by the Clash.

Perhaps "You Trip Me Up" by The Jesus & Mary Chain?
