Unfortunately for Journey, I stopped believing before that one came out.
Unfortunately for me, you reminded me of Journey.
One of my Old fella's bands from years back..I quite liked some of their songs once over..Have'nt heard of em in ages now
i think almost 25 years after the song was written you can now enjoy Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" without shame, sarcasm, or irony... it' time to party! (with maybe a little self-satisfied detachment thou)
One Brain wrote: I heard this song on the radio the other day and it made me want to puke.
if you want a challenge...try listening to "Open Arms" by Journey from the same album... see if that makes you actually puke, have a bag or trash bin ready...
this is one of my favourite songs of all time, actually. i don't listen to journey, but this song is perfection. i didn't realize how perfect it was until 3 or 4 years ago when i had an epiphany, and now i'm hooked. i have it on several mix CDs and on my MP3 player.
'just a city boy, born and raised in south detroit.' rock on, steve.
I'm sorry, but you can't mention Journey without..."Seperate Ways (Worlds Apart)" ![]()
Someday love will find youBreak those chains that bind youOne night will remind youHow we touchedAnd went our separate waysIf he ever hurts youTrue love won't desert youYou know I still love youThrough we touchedAnd went our separate ways
Oh yeah, that's the stuff...![]()
Reminds me of middle school, hitting on Becky Brooks. There are many shit bands in the 80s, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Journey, Triumph just to name a few.
