You can drive a stake through my heart anytime, Slayer.

See boys, you've just got to do your homework.

:\pimp3:

why don't you drive your stake through me, big boy?

there you go, much easier online.

So you wait until you've got her talkin' dirt, then you slip in a little magic, like:

Sure you kinky nightstalker, I've got a whole vessel of holy water to spray around.

:\pimp3:

bloody hell, you naughty ghoul!

Surprised, you frisky valkyrie? I'm no Angel.

  1. tilts head back a bit and slants it to the left so you see up his nostrils
  2. has a goofy smile
  3. squints his eyes a bit

My body language while flirting

  1. Staring at the ground
  2. Shifting from side to side
  3. Involuntary "windmill" dance that strikes when I'm really nervous :nervous:

Just kidding :p

I just want to get some words on "flirting etiquette" from anyone who cares to respond. Here's the situation: There is a girl that I like that (because at Ingles, you actually have to work and can't go up front and chat to the cashiers as much) I've only flirted with a couple of times. I have it from a reputable source that she has a boyfriend...but I'm still thinking of asking her out just for the hell of it (as a "oh, by the way I like you" sort of move). At any rate, I certainly don't plan on stopping the nice flirting we have going (she at least seems to like talking to me, I know that for certain).

So my question is....all's fair in love and war, right? I'm not going to be brought up on charges of "continued flirting with a non-single woman whom I find attractive", am I? Can it be that the Yankees may actually win the AL East? Will I ever start watching "Lost" after a year of not buying into the hype?

Any answers to the following would be appreciated :D

If she's not married, then she's still single.

I've dated women who had a steady boyfriend. One of them, we went to bed before our first date. Usually happens when the boyfriend is a jerk/ is away/ is a jerk who is away/ is cheating on her/ is somebody she's keeping around while she finds someone better.

Forget all the intrigue of the reputable source. Ask her out. If she can't accept, for whatever reason, she'll decline. If she's interested, for whatever reason, she'll accept. Simple as that.

I guess you'll just have to try. The worst that can happen is that she'll tell you to frag off. If she's nice she'll say it nicely, and you may still be in with a shot later.

I can't change my name to Spike here. We already have one of those. :)

Before a date? You mean, you came to her house to pick her up before the movie/dinner, and slept with her in the livingroom?

Or, is a date when you go out with each other, not if you see each other at home?

Or, did you sleep with her at your office?

Im probably the same as most people. When its not really leading anywhere i can flirt and talk all day. The minute it counts and you could seal the connection i go blank and lose it. Good job im 'off the market'.

Minipulating you??? Like only a woman knows, fantastic minipulating skills girls have,so subtle..She's hooked you then, even tho she is betrothed..Bone her and have done with it:D

When I say I've "flirted with" her, I mean more along the lines of "made small talk while going through her line" (and that's only occured a few times). To be sure, I've been "teased" in the past, and would like to think I can tell when I'm on the path to another sexually frustrating friendship. But of course, no man has those skills

She was the sister of a mate's girlfriend. She was at a party, drunk, and some guy was trying to pick her up. My mate asked me to block the other guy, so I stepped in and generally prevented him from getting anywhere. Then she and I went for a walk, just to get her away from the party, get some fresh night air, and before long we were making out...I took her back to her sister's where we, uhh, spent the night. After that we started dating, but she still had a boyfriend...

All too true. You gotta be careful out there, Mr. Tabbsy

Boatraceface wrote: And you Mr Blue betray your lack of scruples

I was about to say I never dated anybody who was married, but then I remembered...Anyway, I don't think dating a single woman-- whether she has a boyfriend or not-- betrays a lack of scruples. Now if we're talking about a single woman who lives with her boyfriend, I'd put that in the same hands-off category as a married woman.

Flirting is definitely an art.Should start subtly and see if you're getting the desired response, and if so bump it up a notch.Personally I only flirt when someone is "special".Otherwise I'm blunt and say I'm interested in bagging you,I don't like games or leading anyone on.For flirting the dance floor is a good place to start. But everyone is an individual and what works for one may not apply to another.

My current interest knows my name! :jump:

I went through her line to cash my check, and she said my name to another girl while she was talking about how I'm always a hassle to deal with (I think she was kidding...he-heh). This after I'd only said it to her a couple of times...though I have cashed my check through her line a few times, so perhaps she has it memorized from that.

This is a step in the right direction :thumb:

Now try using the line from Dodgeball.

Guy: "We should mate."

Girl: "What?"

Guy: "I said, we should date."

How about this old chestnut?

'Scuse Me While I Whip This Out :D

Nah, I've done nothing to scare her off so far, why start now?
