Anyone see the first part of Bob Dylan: No Direction Home last night? I started just out of curiosity (because, as much as I love Dylan, I'm not sure I want to know everything about him. It would ruin my image of him, I guess), and was hooked.

What's more, Dylan himself was actively participating in it, being interviewed at length :faint:

Scorsesee directed it, I remember reading in Uncut a few months back that he wanted to cover Dylan from his early years right up to his idyll in Woodstock in 1967. It's also out on DVD, but I couldn't find it at the video store for rental. I might have to get it for Christmas :thumb:

Should be good if he does'nt croak/jon squire style his numbers throughout it. :evil4:

Taped last night's, watched a bit of it this morning, very well done indeed. I'll probably get the DVD as well, didn't really care for the *foul* language being bleeped on PBS. Gotta set the VCR again tonight, gotta go to work at 3 am again, more detailed thought later on Wednesday or Thursday.

I thought this was a fantastic documentary. I imagined it would be good but it surpassed all expectation.

How cool did Dylan look in 66 with the hair and the shades
