Can't remember the name of my first real major crush as a child (it had to be sometime in elementary school), but once puberty set in and my self-esteem decreased there have only been a few memorable ones:
Beth H (sophmore year) - way-out-of-my-league girl who probably regretted giving me her phone number (can you say "couldn't take a hint?"). Nothing sinister about it, and when we ran into one another recently she seemed happy to see me. Not happy enough to jump my bones, but happy nonetheless.
Brooke H. (junior year) - fellow Beatle-maniac, waited far too long to ask her out. Still wish I could have that one back.
skipping ahead a few years...
Bonnie M (grocery store) - first great love of my freakin' life. Very similar to "The Office" (she was with a jerk co-worker, while I secretly-or-not-so-secretly pined for her). Went out once, but she was just coming out of a relationship and we never got together. In the army now, far away from the Middle East thankfully.
Michelle (girl I asked out my last night at W-D) - actually saw her earlier today, she still looks good and still likes talking to me. Perhaps our story's not over...

The new girl (whose name I don't feel like typing for fear of violating her privacy...even though I've done that to the girls listed already) - We're in the casual flirting stage, I do think she likes me (whether enough to leave her boyfriend, time will tell). Very cute, very likable, and she knows my name. That's three of my top five attributes for women (the other two? I'll keep those to myself
)
