Need feedback about computer system Dell GX110

Not as particularly exciting topic but anyone with feedback both positive and negative would be much appreciated. I'm able to pick one up relatively cheaply. but want to know if can upgrade/make add on's simply/inexpensively etc. Like a dvd/cd burner etc etc. I don't really know much about computer's so that's why posting to see if a good idea, or a waste of time. I know this isn't "the newest computer on the block" so to speak. it's a case of "the price is right."

Sure you can upgrade it. No problem.

But I think that Dell are shit! That's why they cost so little. Figure it out.

I always assumed Dell cost less than others because you're buying directly from the manufacturer? Anyway, I've had one (a Dimension 2500 or something like that) with 3 years & never had any problems, so I'd recommend them. Should also mention though that I've not owned any other makes. ;)

Make sure the bios is at least A09 (can be upgraded from Dell website). Towers seem to have better PSU's than the desktop model but still both are a bit fragile. If it's dirt cheap though.....
