16 at the HEB down the street...but they rarely have more than two or three open...even if there are 52 people standing in line...
i think the store has about 5 lanes, but usually one cashier...
i love the local walgreens here. they have a special no brainer code if they see more than three people in line...they get on the PA and say 'I C 3', and, magically, another register opens!

i went local asda 8 p.m. just before shutting.23 check outs plus 2 diabled and 2 baskets only.
7 check outs were in operation.
i bought one large bottle of bacardi and a bottle of pepsi to match...am finishing the last drops of bacardi now

You can buy Bacardi at Asda's?
We have to go to special shops for alcohol. Controlled by the goverment. Open monday-friday 10AM-6PM. Suterday 10AM-2PM
