I like his duet with Mr.T,a cover of Sweet Home Alabama. Mr.T's rap in the middle "I aint going on no plane sucker"...
His pre- performance artist era "acting out" Mr Tamborine Man and Lucy in the Sky are probably the funniest songs ever recorded in the English language...
Bill was way ahead of his time, and maybe a tad bit too ambitious... he was as bald as Patrick Stewart for 40 years and now has a completely full head of hair stuck into his skull and is winning Emmys finally... the man has done it all
I prefer his cover versions of Joy Division. I saw him live twice... it was great, except for the whoops during Atmosphere.

I decided on Common People just ahead of Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds. BTW, I thought that If I Had A Hammer was actually covered by Leonard Nimoy??
Common People, his vocal "style" suits the lyrics. Love the duet with Henry Rollins on the album as well.
