I listened to the VU with Nico album recently for the first time in quite a while, and was somewhat surprised at how strikingly inferior it seemed to the third album, which I think is probably the best album ever by anybody.
I guess you disagree, Jonathan, although you do choose one from the third album?
"Sunday mornin/new day dawnin..." .or was that Lou SOLO?
"Linger on/Pale blue eyes"
"I`m ,waiting for the man"
whatever.still more in common with NO than Dep Mode anyways
Yes, it has been done before Jonathan, but it certainly never does get old.

"Sunday Morning" is the opening track on The Velvet Underground and Nico LP.

I dont disagree. I tend to enjoy VU more without Nico. But some reason a couple of my fav. songs are with Nico. I enjoy Nico better with her solo material. Interesting fact is that Jaskon Browne wrote a lot of her songs.
Patrick, always looking to cause a commotion.

Just call me Mr. Troublemaker, Jonathan.
I used to think the reason I didn't care much for the first album was the presence of Nico, but I think it's more than that.
The production quality on the third album is just so superior. It's a delight to listen to, from beginning to end.

sunday morning, duh. I once saw Lou Reed perform this song on late nite tv with an interpretative dancer. Almost ruined the song. So wrong that was.
