Hooky is the most original, Moulding is the best songwriter, Burnell has the best vocals, Geddy is the most proficient, and Rodgers wears his bass higher than Barney's guitars, but Paul Simonon has always been my idol :D.

As I play the bass (very badly, I hasten to add and my singing isn't much cop either) I'll vote for Kim Deal 
when hooky sings, he doesnt play his bass, well at least in all the Monaco/Revenge footage i have seen

thats Geddy Lee of Rush, with his Double Neck Rickenbacker Bass/12 String Guitar, he used it in the Mid-late 70's on an a few songs, i think Ricenbacker built the Original Specifically for him, though im not Positive.
The 12-string Rick is the best guitar I've ever played. My fingers are just too big for it though - the neck is so thin. The sound is amazing though. Twin necks rock too.

Well, that's very fine and all, but being a strong vocalist is definitely not his style (had to pull out Sandinista! to listen to The Crooked Beat as a reminder of how weak they were). His talking style worked well on Red Angel Dragnet, though.
